At Black Line, our mission started within our own fire district. The majority of our workouts consisted of running and hiking with the occasional rotations of push-ups and pull-ups. What began as a one day per week instructor led group PT, quickly turned into a daily routine. 

 

As we continued to grow the fitness program within our district, we began to notice how much more crewmembers looked forward to it. Not only was everyone more excited and engaged, but also better well rounded to perform the tasks that we face on the fireline. They were quickly seeing benefits in terms of mobility, muscular endurance, aerobic capacity and strength.

 

Our mission is to provide the entire wildland fire community with structured fitness programming that is safe, engaging, challenging and effective while simultaneously building and maintaining camaraderie. Get started today and BE PREPARED.

WILDLAND FIRE FITNESS

This is our core programming block. Structured around the wildland fire season, it accounts for pre-season aerobic capacity building, maintaining a high level of fitness while on the road, post-season recovery and strength training.

MINIMAL / NO EQUIPMENT

When equipment isn’t an option, we’ve got you covered.

FIRE CAMP

Fire Camp is a 12 week program geared towards building aerobic capacity and muscular endurance needed for the fireline. With minimal equipment needed, this program is designed for everyone. The programming will start early January and end early April. For a one time fee, get signed up and secure your spot today.
