Our programming is structured around the wildland fire season. At the start of the year programming will be geared towards gaining strength. Around the start of February things will shift towards aerobic capacity and muscular endurance building. In the start of the fall months, we will begin to ease back into strength training and olympic lifting development. A heavy emphasis on strength training will continue through the remainder of the year.

 

Although our programming is structured to accommodate wildland firefighters, gaining strength and size during the winter months and trimming down during the summertime pool season, everyone can benefit from our programming structure.

WILDLAND FIRE FITNESS

This is our core programming block. Structured around the wildland fire season, it accounts for pre-season aerobic capacity building, maintaining a high level of fitness while on the road, post-season recovery and strength training.
